Learning Systems Institute

The Learning Systems Institute is a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to bridging the gap between research and practice in education and training and is considered one of the leading research institutions in the fields of human performance, expertise, leadership, reading research, learning, educational technology, and complex cognitive skills.

The Learning Systems Institute maintains project-based teams led by FSU faculty and graduate students who develop robust solutions using systems approaches to the planning, design, evaluation, and improvement of instruction, learning, and human performance.
   

Center for Research on Innovative Technologies for Learning

The Center for Research of Innovative Technologies for Learning (RITL) was founded in 2004 by Dr. Amy L. Baylor to facilitate interdisciplinary research in the areas of instructional technology, human-computer interaction, communications, computer science, and psychology.
   

International Center for Learning, Education, and Performance Systems

The International Center for the Development of Human Performance conducts research in the area of human performance with the goal of developing a general theory of human performance and to apply that theory in a variety of settings, including K-12 education, higher education, business, industry, and government.
